Ryoji got to experience his first Easter egg hunt in Tennessee on April 4th! Easter is a Christian holiday that is celebrated all around the world. Kids decorate and hunt for eggs outside. Usually the eggs have candy or money inside them. Some children even get visited every year by the Easter egg bunny (similar to Santa Claus). This holiday usually begins by people going to church with their families, having a special lunch together and then collecting eggs. Usually adults don’t collect eggs, but my family likes to keep the tradition going even though we are all in our 20s. We hope you enjoy the cultural lesson of this video!
