Japan Van Life Ch 16 – Sleeping on rocks 2,310m above sea level in the Japanese Alps
It’s been a hard (rock) day’s night, and we hope to be sleeping like logs by the end of it. After a 7 hour hike to see the beautiful autumn leaf views at the Karasawa Cirque in Kamikochi, Nagano, we’re pitching a tent on literal boulders for the night so we can wake up early to catch the sun rise over the mountains. But after cooking our first meal on a mountain, it looks like we might be in for a rocky night!
